Terms of Service

The terms governing your use of LaunchDock.

For questions about how this policy applies to your account, email legal@launchdock.site. This page is informational and not legal advice.

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using LaunchDock you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. If you are using LaunchDock on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Account registration

You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account, keep credentials secure, and are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized access at support@launchdock.site.

Workspace responsibility

If you invite collaborators into a workspace, you are responsible for the conduct of users in that workspace and for ensuring that any data added is data your team is authorized to use.

Acceptable use

Your use of LaunchDock is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which prohibits spam, deceptive marketing, abuse, and unauthorized data uploads.

User content and launch data

You retain ownership of the content and launch data you submit. You grant LaunchDock a limited, worldwide license to host, process, and display that content solely as needed to deliver the service to you and your workspace.

AI-generated assistance and human review

LaunchDock uses OpenAI GPT-4o via API to draft messaging, suggest plans, and assist with launch tasks. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your context. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before publishing, sending, or relying on it.

AI prepares readiness suggestions and drafts. Your team keeps approval authority. Customer data is not used for foundational model training.

No automatic publishing promise

AI cannot trigger external API push actions, publishing, posting, or sending without an explicit human Ship trigger. Connectors are read-oriented or notification-oriented by default, and no outbound action leaves your workspace until a person triggers it.

Billing and subscriptions

Payments are processed by Stripe. Paid plans include a 14-day trial and renew on the cadence selected at checkout; annual billing is offered at a 20% discount versus monthly.

Fees are charged in advance. A 30-day money-back guarantee applies to your initial paid period; beyond that, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Cancellation

You may cancel a paid subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues through the end of the current paid period.

Service availability

We work to keep LaunchDock available and performant but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, upgrades, and unforeseen incidents may cause downtime.

Security and subprocessors

LaunchDock is hosted on AWS in us-east-1 (N. Virginia). Data is encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. Workspace access is role-based across Owner, Admin, Editor, and Viewer roles, and immutable system logs track readiness gate overrides and permission changes.

Our subprocessors are AWS (hosting), Stripe (payments), and Postmark (transactional email). SOC 2 Type II is in progress; gap analysis completed May 2026. A Data Processing Addendum is available upon request via legal@launchdock.site.

Disclaimers

LaunchDock is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LaunchDock will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenues. Our aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD 100 if you have not made any payment.

Termination

You may stop using LaunchDock and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, security risk, or where required by law.

Changes to terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated through the product or by email before they take effect.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. A Data Processing Addendum is available upon request via legal@launchdock.site.
